I can only speak personally about Dr Lennox. I was diagnosed with Parkinson's just over 7 years ago ( am coming up 64), and can in fact now recognise the onset in my early 40's. I was with another Consultant for several years, who was also excellent, and transferred only because I understood my first Consultant was to retire in the near future. I have had nothing but excellent, and incredibly constructive care from this man. I feel totally at ease with him, and discuss anything. He seems to enjoy feedback from his patients which challenge him. Never once have I felt he has dismissed any comments I have to make. Most importantly, he makes me feel that I still have a future to look forward to. I must also comment on the care and advice of the Glos team of Specialist Parkinson's Nurses, who are always at the end of the phone or email (if not immediately, then within 24 hours), hugely practical and empathetic. Everyone hopes for a breakthrough treatment, with members of the medical profession like these, I'm sure it will happen.

I attended a consultation as a patient with Dr Lennox at the John Radcliffe Hospital. He has an exceptionally professional, kind, courteous and considerate manner. At no point did I feel rushed; he took the appropriate length of time to explain my test results, diagnosis and treatment and to answer my questions. He offered excellent advice. I left feeling more confident, happy and relaxed than in the previous few months. He could not have been more professional, kind and supportive. I would recommend him highly to anyone.

I attended my mother's appointment with her, to see Dr Lennox in the John Radcliffe in October 2018. We were blown away by his kindness, personability, the care and time he gave my mother when making difficult treatment decisions, the way in which he explained her diagnosis and options in an understandable, non-medical and non-condescending manner. By far, Dr Lennox's consultation with my mother was the best medical consultation I have ever been part of. It was exemplary.

Didn’t listen to anything I tried to tell him. Was rude, condescending, intimidating & humiliating. Kept interrupting every time I spoke. Consultation ended up being a bickering session. Was indifferent to everything I said Didn’t examine me thoroughly. Didn’t want to discuss my symptoms or why i had been referred. Wasn’t empathetic or caring. Didn’t like this doctor at all. Complete waste of time and energy going to seeing this doctor! Didn’t help me at all - just make a difficult situation more difficult!
